Calvary Baptist Church offers various support groups that address a variety of issues for individuals who are seeking encouragement, direction and healing. Most of these groups are biblically-based, Christ-centered ministries of our church. These support groups address such issues as divorce, grief, codependency, depression, anger management, anxiety, various addictions and other life issues. Calvary also allows some selected clinically-based community oriented support groups to meet at our facility.

The Central Focus is on the Lord Jesus as our only path to heaven and the abundant life on earth. The purpose is to help group members find comfort in a coalition with others who have a similar struggle or concern. The hope is that group membership will bring a renewed sense of meaning to each person as he/she connects with other group members. Through shared experiences each group can provide spiritual growth and accountability in a unique way for the members.

These groups are non-sectarian in nature and do not ascribe to a certain religious affiliation. Their purpose is to provide a safe environment for people to meet with others who have similar struggles and who strive for balance and a healthier approach to life. Those who attend the group faithfully can gain hope for improvement of their situations as they bond with others and learn better coping skills. By allowing these groups to meet on our campus we are both providing a community service as well as another opportunity for people to become familiar with Calvary.

Two groups of AL-Anon meet here weekly throughout the year:
